| Frame
Relay and ATM - An Overview |
| You've
heard about Frame Relay, but what is it really? Suffice it to say that
it is a networking protocol which allows us to provide you with a cost-effective,
high speed dedicated connection to the Internet. Frame Relay is an efficient
way
to power your corporate or educational network, and can support hundreds
or thousands of users simultaneously. We won't hit you with a bunch of
buzz words right now, but we will provide some links to resources
that will shake off any misconceptions you might have about it.
As for ATM, it
is yet another network protocol that is currently gaining momentum in the
industry. It takes a different approach to delivering information, and
can be used to carry voice and data over the same physical line. One of
the better references available is the Cell-Relay
FAQ, which provides comprehensive information about ATM and its benefits.
Since high speed
data connectivity is our primary business, we encourage you to contact
our courteous sales staff with any questions you may have. We will be happy
to go over the advantages and disadvantages of using these high speed solutions,
and help you to find something that fits your network and budget. |

a 56 Kbps modem on a standard analog phone line. There are no dial-up
delays, no busy
signals. What used to take minutes or hours to download will take just
seconds or minutes. With DSL Internet service you can download graphics-heavy
